التقى الفريقان في افتتاح الجولة الخامسة والثلاثين من الدوري الإنجليزي على ملعب “الاتحاد”، وانتهت المباراة بفوز مانشستر سيتي بهدف دون رد.
شارك عمر مرموش في هذه المباراة كأساسي واستمر في الملعب حتى الدقيقة 82 قبل أن يتم استبداله.
